Dear Choctaw Elementary Families,

It is with great excitement and sincerity that I introduce myself as the new principal of Choctaw Elementary! After serving as the assistant principal here for the last seven years, I am honored to step into this new role and continue growing alongside the incredible students, staff, and families that make our school so special.

My time at CE has been a journey of learning, building relationships, and embracing the strong traditions that define our school community. As we begin this next chapter together, I promise to lead with purpose and passion—focused on creating a school culture rooted in connection, commitment, and collaboration.

This year, we are proudly embracing our theme of Yellowjacket Pride—a celebration of school spirit and unity. Our mission aligns with the district’s G.O.L.D. Standard, and we will strive every day to model gratitude, ownership, leadership, and discipline in all we do.

Dear Choctaw Elementary Families,     

My name is Mrs. Alkire, and I am honored to join the Choctaw Elementary family as Assistant Principal! It is a true privilege to have the opportunity to work alongside such a dedicated staff, supportive families, and an incredible group of students.

I bring twelve years of experience in education, having taught both second and third grade, and serving as a reading specialist and curriculum coach. These roles have shaped my belief in the power of strong instruction, meaningful relationships, and a shared commitment to student growth. My passion lies in supporting both students and teachers so that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
